"Kevin isn't that bad it's not like he beats her, why does she need to kill him or fake her death, just get divorced" you are the point of the show, you are missing the crucial reveal. Allison sees Kevin in every single scene as she does their last scene together, but we as the audience aren't privy to that and we only see sitcom Kevin which is Kevin's self perception. He is not suddenly becoming scary and threatening to her. He was like that the whole time. We only see Allison's feelings about Kevin and the aftermath of her interactions with Kevin -- this is the ONLY time we see Kevin from her POV except for the brief initial breaking of the sitcom cam. Every other time we see Kevin on screen it's from Kevin's POV. Even after she cuts her hand we only see the bandage in her singular pov when she is away from kevin, but when it shifts back to sitcom Kevin it's gone.... We do not see the reality of her interactions with Kevin, that's the point of the show!!! Because when Kevin is on screen, it's Kevin's world! We only see Kevin from anyone else's lens in ONE scene at the end, which is when Allison decides to leave, so yes the sitcom cam "softens his abuse" but it also just fully acts as an unreliable narration because we never literally see Kevin from anyone else's POV until the series finale so every time Kevin is on screen it isn't even an accurate portrayal of what's happening, it's Kevin's perception of what's happening. Allison has viewed him like that the entire show, we as the audience just did not get to witness that POV until the end

The whole saga of House, Cameron, and the mocha frap is too funny not to share:

1. Cam offers House the drink (not pictured)

2. House complains it doesn't have whip

3. Cameron pulls the drink back to take for herself since he doesn't want it, and proceeds to stare him directly in the eye while drinking it (my girl is autistic and performing social interactions like a lioness hunting on the savanna)

4. Cameron leans forward in shock, House reaches to grab the drink

5. Cameron pulls the drink back (presumably not giving it to him until she gets answers)

6. House reaches forward and steals the drink from her while she processes the Foreman news and stares at him in disbelief

cameron and chase were definitely in on wilson’s scheme to trick house into admitting he misses his original fellows which begs the question: which one of them came up with it. chase is the first one to give up and make it clear that he’s Real And Actually In The Hospital (and this is also the start of his rebellious teen ‘no house i will NOT help you at work’ phase) which makes me think it wasn’t him and was either cameron or wilson. personally i think it was cameron who masterminded it (not really expecting it to go as far as it did) but wilson was the one who committed to the bit and freestyled the whole ‘and btw cameron and chase moved to arizona and got engaged’ thing and cameron does not know about this until house makes a crack about her not wearing her engagement ring a couple of days later. at which point she is so visibly horrified that he immediately realises the truth. (house lets her blame chase for it though)

Gideon Nav uses one very large sword in defiance of the expectation that a cavalier should use a rapier, but Camilla Hect instead uses two. Just as much defiance of social expectation, twice as many blades. The reveal of her specific brand of swordiness is the heart of one of the book's most iconic lines: "Cam?
